Hello, I have a situation with a list. The list is a custom list with multiple fields, calculated, date time, etc. I also have append history attached to a History field and version control is set to Major - no approval set and not limit set. Running Wss 3.0
Some of my documents have the normal number of versions and others have 3564 or 2930 ramdom large numbers. What would cause this to happen? Workflow, Edit in Datasheet? We recently migrated some data and created new fields to the list and I did this by edit in datasheet pasting the data. I also had one document that had 11,000 versions which I had to delete from the list. I need cause and if known resolution for this type of behavior. Thank you
