Hi,
I have 3 groups in the report :-
GroupH 1 - List of ID (defined in a specified list)
GroupH 2 - Name (all names fall under each ID)
GroupH 3 - Periodicity (YTD & FY - 2 values only under this field)

2 formula fields :-
1. YTD_Target - if (peiodicity = YTD) then Target_Numbers
2. FY_Target - if (peiodicity = FY) then Target_Numbers

I can place YTD Actual(direct field) + @YTD_Target + FY Forecast (direct field) all under GH2. No issues.
But as soon as i place @FY_Target under GH2 - the complete col list '0.00' against each NAME.
If same field placed under GH3 then I can see the values against FY and all YTD values = 0 (which is correct).

So my query is how do i make all of them in a straight line and lists me in a symmetrical table manner.
hope you guys got the gist of it.
Have attached a pic to this post to make it more obvious and relatively easy to comprehend.

Regards
Abhi.

Try moving your total to the group footer. Does it work then?

Some totals come directly from the data and will show in a group header. Others are found during printing and will be zero in the header.

If you're not already familiar with Crystal's automated totals, see FAQ767-6524.

PS. Where I work, downloads are not allowed so I have not been able to see your example.

thanks for the reply mate...
but unfortunately i tried all the options as you suggested and IT does NOT work....

So I know this is achievable but somewhere I am missing the point.
Was gonna try and make a manual crosstab to work...
so lets c if that works.

At the same time if anyone else can point out some ideas to me then it will be great.
thanks...

Any one who can give me some headsup on this issue ?

it will be much much appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for the responses and finally I got that thing working.

The issue was I was not doing a summary for each field and hence it was not displaying on a single line... but grouping it on each sub groups.

Thanks.
