Hi,
Is it possible to generate the Total of a list box on a text Box?

thanks

Ismail

Why do that? You can just add a text box and put the total there.

Probably, but what do you mean by Total? I do not think that a list box has a Total property.

hneal98, that's exactly what I am trying to do.
I have a form that generate a list of information on a list box based on what the user pick. Right at the bottom of the list box (Not in the list box, outside of it)I want to add a text box that shows the total (Data)of the list box.

I created a text box and I put in it's control source the following:

=count(Forms![FormName]![ListName])

Hope this is clear

Thanks

The numbers of items in the list:
=listName.listcount

MajP, That's it. Thank you very much.
I have another question if you guys don't mind. When the count is done it include the Column Header. the following Example:

Id Name
1 JohnS
2 FrankP
3 MannyG

Total should be 3 but I am getting 4 because it including Id, and Name. if it's possible How do I eliminate that from the count?

Thanks again

It should not be counting the header. Are you sure you don't have a blank record in there?

Yes I do have a blank record. Problem solved.
Thanks
Ismail
