I can use 'groups' to list the groups a user is a member of,
but how do i list the members of a particular group?

Hi,

The easiest way is to just do :

cat /etc/gshadow
or
cat /etc/group

Regards

Don't forget to also check /etc/passwd. A user doesn't need to be listed in /etc/groups for their primary group.
