Is there a way to find out the users logged on to a Windows server?
Can I disconnect the users to avoid data corruption?
This will be usefull when I need to do maintenance on a server.

It wasn't me, it was someone that looks a lot like me . . . .

You can close open files in computer management but any unsaved changes will be lost. You can also announce that you will be performing maintenance at a certain time then pause the server service a bit before, this will stop new user connecting while allowing current users to save work and logoff.

NET PAUSE SERVER is the command.

At command prompt, NET SESSION lists who's logged in.

additionally, you can use Net File(s) to see what files are open as well.

As usual, You guys rule.
Many Thanks.
