I am sucessful in listing employees paid on the 15th of each month with their gross wages, hours worked and earnings. They would also like to see the previous month's gross wages on the report.

Please explain how I can include the previous month's earnings on the report that list the current gross wages, hours worked and earnings for the 15th of each month.

You could create a SQL Derived Field that does a SQL Select to get the previous month's gross wages.

For a starter look at this:

So what you need to do is create a report that returns this value for one employee. Copy the SQL and paste it into a Derived Field.

[!]LOOK OUT FOR THIS:[/!]
1.) The SQL Derived Field can only return one value.
2.) The SQL in the Derived Field MUST be inclosed in ()
3.) Paste the SQL into notepad first then copy it to ReportSmith to eleminate any formatting issues.
