List paging - needind previous button

Hi,
Frequently in a document library, when I set the view to show a limited number of items, sharepoint service would automatically add a next button (a link actually) in the view to navigate to the next batch of items. The problem which has been driving me crazy is that sharepoint doesn't add a previous button or link!! Does anyone have a solution to this seemingly so user unfriendly issue?
