We will be upgrading approximately 1200 computers in 2004 from Office 2000 to Office 2003 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).

A lot of our users have customized settings for those programs and I was wondering if anyone has a list of settings which migrate from Office 2000 to Office 2003 they can share with me. I'm researching this to help make the transition as painless as possible and also so we can customize the rollout if needed to include/exclude certain settings.

Thanks!

Most of the stuff wil be retained automatically.

Thanks aldior. In your experience, what things are lost? I do appreciate it. I have to get a report into my boss on what might be lost before we do the upgrade.

This isn't a migration setting, but I noticed my hyperlinks set up in Excel spreadsheets were wiped clean after switching. Luckily I didn't have that many.

Thanks hangmeup, I appreciate the info.
