Dear all;

Hope you guys can help on the list of features on CCM 2.
Just need to know on the details such as:

1)The Basic Feature
2)Object Length
3)Real Time Presentation
4)Statistic Report
5)Report Production
6)Message Generation
7)Configuration Manager

I'm comparing this feature from CCM4

The main differences are that CCM 4 supports some features in BC10 11 and 12? Such as DNIS numbers and MIS port by ethernet. So basically if you have BC10 and above you should look at CCM3 or 4.

CCM2 is not supported anymore. It's as unreliable as CCM3&4 though. (Just incase your wondering.) As far as reports go they are all pretty similar. CCM 3 and 4 can address individual wall displays by addressing which CCM2 can't. So you can have one client drive - say 4 wall displays with different messages on each.

Another difference is CCM 2 is not licensed in a restrictive way. CCM 3 and 4 come with a totally useless licensing program from the dark ages called iFor which will restrict the concurrent connections to the server by the clients. This in our system is the biggest single cause of faults. As it is uncompatible with modern server redunancy software. It uses lana numbers for security so if you have a server that uses a program to hot switch between to network adapters it can interfer. It took us 3 weeks and pure luck to get it to work. (this was with the help of Ericsson.)

The basic features are probably explained by some ericsson promotional material. (Check their website.)
