List Meas trunk hourly summary question?

I have been task with verifing CDR output. In my mind I am assuming that if the list meas trunk hourly comes back with 100 inc. seize trunks I am thinking the CDR should be relitively close to 100 inbound calls, give or take with slight time variation. Well that is not the case. The call difference is in the 100's of calls off from the PBX and CDR. I have looked at avaya documentation getting definitions on what a seizure is and it seems to me the inc seize and inc call total should be close. I understand that there are 101 ways to set CDR parameters to get difference output results, however I have changed some parameters and the output does not change.

Can someone tell me their understanding of how the PBX counts inc seizeures and what could be causing the large difference in totals in the pbx an cdr.

I appreciate any help on this. Thanks

Start by doing a 'list trunk-group'. Verify that the CDR field is set to 'y' for all of the trunk groups.

I'm not sure from your description which has the higher Peg Count; the PBX or CDR. If I'm not mistaken, a call has to be established for around 10 seconds before it is counted by CDR.

Hey Kevin,I did verify that the trunk groups are set for CDR and they are. I just assumed that, so thanks for bringing it to my attention, I will keep my eye on that at other locations.

the CDR reports have the higher peg count, which really baffles me. There is a CDR Parameter for inc. call splitting which if set to yes is support to create a new call record in CDR, I have turned this parameter on an off and the call count in CDR does not change.

Any additional thoughts are gratefully accepted! Thanks
