list lox - setting loo long

hello,
i make several runtime selects to my database, and got a string with final result, and give listbox recordsource to that string, but when having lot of results i got a error message:
"The setting for this property is too long"
there is any way to avoid this, or should thing in something different(thought in datagrid, but having my linked/cascaded selects and the final result in one string dont know how to "connect" string result with datagrid ...)
