try sp_who...

when users login you can find the entry in the sysprocesses system table... this is the table where the sp_who system stored procedure gets the information...

or if your using the version of Adaptive Server Anywhere that comes with Sybase IQ, don't use sp_who buy sa_conn_info

 
Thanks guys but no dice. The sp_who comes back as a not recognised command and there are no entries in the sysprocesses table despite the fact that there ARE people logged in.

When I go into the SYBASE control feature and click on the logged in users folder, what table is that querying in the DB ??
