Has anyone figured out the command(s) to list files backed up on a particular date and the respective tape number the files reside on? For example, I would like to know the tape needed to restore /home/user1/fileabc that was saved on 06/25/03.

Just run bpimmedia -client <ServerName> -d <StartDate> -e <EndDate> -L
If more than one tape is used, then use bpflist to ascertain the exact tape.

Thanks to PGPhantom for the tip. What options should be used with the bpflist command?

What you could use is:

bpflist -d <start date> -e <end date> -client <client name> |grep <the file name you want to search for>

Hope it makes sense. Really though, the initial:
bpimmedia -client <ServerName> -d <StartDate> -e <EndDate> -L
Should suffice.
