While chasing answers to other problems, I saw this from some years ago with no resolutions,
The DND,Headset,Mute and speaker keys all stay lit.
To fix this (most times) remove the surface mount Capacitor C227 which is under the MAC Address sticker on PCB. ( this is only on the "D" series)
Have seen many hansets thrown away when they could have been repaired this easily
