Somebody told me that there is no version of Linuxconf for RH7.3 or 8.0 - is this true? If true, is there another alternative?

BHAP! And thanks...

what ?
I'm using the Linuxconf 1.29r3 on my redhat 8.0 server. How is that then ?

the plot thickens....

Stingreen, any problems, issues etc setting it up?

BIS,
I had some library problems at first, but after downloading them (just about 4 ), It worked just fine. And still using.
Where did you get the information that linuxconf is not compatible with RH 8.0 ?
Thanks.

like I said somebody told me...
it sounded strange as well, as I see RH8.0 in the download section of - guess I will just try it out. Thanks for your input.

I think I know the reason for the confusion.
Apparently RH doesn't include linuxconf in it's distributions anymore.
I seem to have misinterpreted the info, just as Bis' "reliable source" (Was that me with a couple of drinks in my system?) prolly did.

BHAP!

Ah! That explains it.
Wasn't you - some french dude...

Ah, he was French was he? Well one can't expect much of a frog, now can he!?
