Can anyone advise on the correct way to remove ( uninstall )Linux.
I tried just removing the partition using fdisk but that left part of the Linux bootup on the HD. When I tried to boot up after re sys'ing the drive it hung with the caption LI which is half of the normal Linux boot message of LILO.

Use "fdisk/mbr" (no spaces) to totally remove the master boot record.
