Hi

Anyone out there know of the distro linux XP?? what is it about and does it have any relation to MicroSoft?? You have to pay to be able to download it. Im busy downloading the russian version I found.

I've never used it before, but by the looks of it, it really is nothing more than Linux with an XP desktop feel.

No relation to Microsoft (as if they would). Open source, or Linux does not necessarily mean free.

Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

UK (paper) magazine Linux Format (April issue LXF91) has an article on skinning your linux box to look like XP, OSX, etc.

I looked at it (free download). I'm not impressed, but then again, I don't use M$ either. I prefer KDE so I use Kubuntu. Recently switched from Mandrake (not Mandriva).

On a side note, KDE should be able to run on Windows soon. I still won't switch back.
