I replaced my old CRT monitor with a nice LCD monitor for my desktop. I used xf86config and Xconfigurator to try to set up video card and monitor. I followed LCD monitor manual for the vert/horizon syn rate. But got no success.

Nothing changed except for the monitor. The old CRT monitor was working fine with Linux system. So my video (an Intel i810 chipset) card should be fine.

The new LCD monitor works fine in Linux text mode and MS Windows (dual boot/OS disk). But I need to run X application.

Anybody have done it before or can help?
