Can anyone recommend any?

I need to develop a site. I'm used to using Dreamweaver in the Windows environment. I did the graphics and text using the GUI and used ASP for the back end.

I'm creating a new site with PHP, but don't know if there is a good Linux web development tool ...

Thanks for the advice -

You can use bluefish (html tool), gimp (graphic tool), php, perl and java on Linux...:)

If you are used to Dreamweaver, there is no reason you need to stop just because your website is on a linux server. Code writen for one os will work on the other with little or no changes at all. It's the php interpreter on each os that does all the work. If you have quite a few pages of asp code, there is a program that will convert asp to php called asp2php.
