Hi all,
I startup KDE with a common user, so when I try to logout, three options appear ...

-Login as different user
-Turn off the computer
-Restart the computer

If in the last two options a common user choose one of them, I want that one box appear asking for root password so only the administrator can restart and poweroff the computer.

Anybody know how can I do that ?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

try this:

open Control Center. Go to System Administration then Login Manager.

Click on Administrator Mode, login with root password.

Now select Shutdown tab. Under the Allow Shutdown, select Root only.

Not exactly what you wanted but it stops normal users from shutting down.

Dave.
