Hi, All

We have a linux server running samba on a remote location, what we would like to do is synchronize the linux files on the remote location with a Windows server. I was wondering if there's any tool to acomplish this task.

Many Thanks

Well, you could mount a windows share under linux and then use rsync on both directories, or you could mount the linux share under windows and find a windows tool.

You could also install rsync and ssh on a windows machine and sync them that way ....

choices choices... :)

That really depends on how remote the remote server is.

The remote server is over a WAN I have access on the public IP or private orver IPSEC VPN tunnel using Juniper Firewalls. ( Just give me you opinion on which one would you go for )

Many Thanks

I'd install rsync+ssh on the windows machine :)
