Hello All !

Configuration is Fedora Core 6, kernel 2.6.18-1.2869 for both [Linux A] and [Linux B] servers.

192.168.100.1/24--(eth1)---[Linux A]---(eth0)---216.237.123.123~~~<internet>~~~216.237.234.234--(eth0)--[linux B]-- 10.10.10.1/24

Forwarding is enabled, masquerade is setup, and firewall in [Linux A] and [Linux B] authorize eachother on all ports (by IP). Machines in the 192.168 and 10.10 subnets access the internet without issue.

I'm now trying to setup a reliable tunnel (steady connection, not bursty, automatically reconnects if internet goes down) between this 2 linux routers, so that machines in the 192.168.100.0/24 subnet can talk to machines into the 10.10.10.0/24 and vice-versa.

I'm looking for a quick solution that does not require kernel recompilation, or complex certification procedures. I started looking into using ppp (i don't have problems running unencrypted), but looks like modules are required...

Please post all the configuration files and command lines required.

Thanks very much !!

Hmm, would you mind posting the scripts to establish the tunnel, with the scenario described ?

Thanks!!
