I am running Redhat 7.2. I want to be able to run a java
app or something on my windows box so I can control the exact desktop of my redhat machine. If you have any ideas please help.

If you need to control your desktop in terminal mode, just use telnet.

If you need to control it in X-windows mode, then there are x-windows terminals that will run on your Windows machine. I don't know if there are any free ones out right now, but there are several commercial versions available.

Dear vfear!

I have just read your question. If you want to connect to server Red Hat Linux 7.x. You need choice 2 purpose:

1. Run a application on server. You must download the hummingbird software. The same telnet

2. Run all of them (see all desktop server) you must download software SuperX 6.x from
and read some document. You can configuration some setting on server.

Bye!
