linux on MS VPC

Hello Folks,

I was wondering if anyone has success fully tried to install linux on Microsoft Visual PC 2004? I have been surfing the net tring all kinds of suggestions, but with no preveil... Can anyone help me with this issue?

I have tried to use MS vistualisation with another MS product installed as guest on a windoz host and found it much slower that VMWare. I therefore assume that vistualising linux on MS Virtual PC will be even less performing.

I would go for VMWare.

I've done it, but it just sort of "worked" for me. I was using a Live distro though. I switched to VMWare Server the second it became free... And was happy to do so.
