Hi I've been looking at different linux distros for hours now, have downloaded and tried Debian, Knoppix STD, MiniSlack, Morphix and Debian Light but can't get any to run.

I've got an old P300 with 32mb ram, can anyone suggest a vers of Linux with a gui I can use and is any good?! Just want to mess around with it nothing to serious!

Cheers

I have had lots of luck with Vector Linux on older & newer boxes. They also have a live version that you can try out first... (Boots from CD like Knoppix). V4.3 Standard is less than 300M and has a very streamlined GUI.

Check it out:
