connecting Linux to my SBC ADSL connection. I bridged my Netopia Cayman 3546 router so that is lets all traffic pass through it, I'm using a Linux machine as a firewall. This linux machine is connected directly to the router and the rest of my network is conneected to the second network card in the Linux box. I went into Linux and tried to setup an xDSL connection using the "Internet Configuration Wizard", I enter my username and password that SBC gave me, then entered one of my static IP addresses for the connection and put the static info in eth0 configuration as well.

Has anybody else done this with SBC Ameritech Yahoo DSL and got it to work?

I had gotten it to work a few weeks ago by setting up an ADSL internet connection through network setttings. (Which is still PPPoE but it set it up for me). Thanks for your response.
