Just installed the new beta version of mandrake 9. when you go to the control center and to the linux kernel configurator. its says

Teh kernel configuration could not be read du to teh following error cannot open /usr/scr/linux/arch/config.in for reading. Either your kernel sources contain invalid configuration rules or you just found a bug in KDE Kernel Configurator..

IM logged in as root in the kde

Any Help????

Might not be what you're looking for, but what about opening a prompt,cd'ing to /usr/src/kernel-version, and running 'make xconfig'? I know in RH kernels they keep default configs in the folder /usr/src/kernel-version/configs. Just bypass the distribution specific stuff and do it the 'man's way'!
