Hi all,

I am a linux administrator and i need some tools to be developed on linux.. to ease my routine work.. Right now i am doing all my work by writting shell scripts.. I want all these shell scripts to have a frontend in GUI

How could i do that? What is a good and easy tool(like VB/VC in windows) to develope a GUI tools for RedHat 8/9? like redhat-config-network.... etc....
or
what is being used on linux to develope a small GUI tools

Thanks in advance...

yes just aware of it .. but i have not used that one.. I am very much familiar with c, c++ and Java.. bur i am looking for a tool like vb/vc ..
is there any gui based developement tool...??

You might want to look into glade or kdevelop, they are both great. Glade works almost like the form designer in VB but without the ide it has bindings for a ton of languages as well check it out here It helps in building interfaces quickly.
Kdevelop is a great IDE that can be used in conjunction with some tools from trolltech for vb/vc type functionality.

Good Luck
