linux forum or vm ? thinapp / thinstall wine

I have just discovered thinapp for windows "very powerful"
I wondered if the 4 .exe files would run with wine as all the dll's etc are packaged within the .exe files.

when i try to run the app it errors

invalid module type for ADVAPI32.dll

msgbox title - QueryServiceConfig2A

I have read people have got this running but not explained how.
