Linux firewall and VPN

I have two networks

WinXP Box(192.168.0.0/24 network) -> Linux Firewall <--Internet--> Linux Firewall -> Win2003 server(192.168.0.0/24 network)

on both networks the DHCP server is located on the Linux mchines. I have tried setting up DHCP relay on the W2k3 machine in RAS Configuration but i get a 733 error when trying to establish a VPN connection. If i setup an address space in the VPN server the connection authenticate and registers fine.

The DHCP server on the lan is working fine. Any ideas why my VPN client cant get its IP from the linux dhcp server using the relay settings.
