I second that. I am studying for it right now the old fashioned way, shouldn't everyone else?

I haven't been paying attention to the Linux+, but it is on my list of certs to get in the next year. When did CompTIA change the exam?

I passed the Linux+ XK0-002 this morning. Well just scraped it really as I scored 685. Not too bad because I had a headache this morning and a bad day yesterday and had to work late instead of studying.

I think I would have found it much easier if I was in a better frame of mind this morning.

Anyway I passed.

as for your question.

Nearly all the practise exams I used were written for the XK0-001. I dont think any if not very few questions in the exam were not the same type of questions available in the XK0-001 practise tests.

One thing to note in all 98 questions I had today there was not one question that didn't require me to pick one answer out of 4.

Next up Security+ 8)

TheBully - A+, Network+, Linux+.

Infact I have to say that this morning I almost felt sick and even had trouble concentrating on the wording of the questions. It was almost an easy exam in the fact that there were no twists or tricks in the questions designed to throw you like in the A+.

First of all I went though each question quickly then reviewed every single one. Then I concentrated on the flagged questions. by the end of the exam, I was 100% confident on my answers for 60% of the questions.
