Our demo IPO Powered by system on R11.0.1 recently slowed down and top command shows a user called vmpro using all the CPU. Does anyone know what this might actually be (vmpro service is showing 0% usage and all other services in the gui showing the same).
USER CPU
31767 vmpro -17 0 2148 624 420 R 98.2 0.0 196:19.79 .1CAejE
3917 Administ 20 0 1050m 64m 4712 S 11.0 1.6 4:30.30 python2.6

Totally different question that should be another thread but might be related is Has anyone gotten the gsuite gmail ums integration working with IPO? I have had trouble getting it working so just want to know that it is actually possible. I suspected that those changes might be causing the CPU issue since the IPO is constantly trying to connect to Google, but turning that off hasn't made much difference. Yesterday changing some settings related to that locked up the system completely--but that could have been because CPU was already low. Thanks much!

98.2 above is the CPU amount which bounces between that and 100%

The application using the resources is named ".1CAejE", I don't think that is something that should be running on the system.

If you can access the system from the internet I suspect it's been hacked and you should reinstall it.

Well, actually I look at my system and found a .filename running as root =)
Seems it has a bunch of these in the /tmp tree.

You can run "ps -aux | grep .1CAejE" to see where the file is located.
The question is what is causing it to use all the resources.

Thanks! Sorry to respond so late. That is super helpful and I requested the patch from Avaya--we'll see how it goes.

The patch worked after loading and doing a reboot. I also turned off MAPI previously but when I did that a second process popped up using almost 100% cpu as well. So it got worse. But the patch is great so far. Avaya had some trouble finding it because there are two patches with that name--one for IP Office and one for VM Pro. This was the VM Pro one. Thanks again janni78

Had to use the patch on a second cloud IPO instance this week so I'm going to start loading it during programming now.
