I have heard from someone that it is possible to set a Linux Server up as a BDC in a NT4 Network.
Is this rubbish or is it at all possible??
As this would interest me as a cheap option for a small Domain.

Thanks

Rubbish, with Samba 2.2.1a.

You can, however, set it up as a PDC using Samba 2.2.1a.

You can set up as PDC but not as BDC.
Because Linux as Primary domain better than WinNT.
So Linux didn't need BDC
