We are using BackupExec 9.1 on a Windows 2000 server. We use the linux agent on a Redhat AS 3 server to backup files. We have two folders with identical permissions on them. When I go to backup these folders, Backup Exec see's the contents of 1 of the folders and not the other. Is there a file size limit that the Linux agent can backup. The folder we can see the files in has a 1.5gb file in it. The folder we can't see the files in has a 3gb and a 13gb file in it. All of the files I am trying to backup have are tar.Z files. Is there anything else I am missing that would stop Backup Exec from seeing these files.

Thanks

James

Are you not seeing the files - how about checking the permission

Both of the folders are owned by root and have 777 permissions on them.

That was it, we weren't on the latest version. I searched on Veritas Support and never found this article. What did you search for to get this article?

Thanks

James
