Linux Agent Auto Start

I have successfully installed the Linux agent and it works fine (if the agent is running of course). It appears that the agent does not automatically start on a reboot of the machine. Is the agent startup supposed to be manually added to one of etc/rc startup scripts? Or did I miss something on the install?
