Just spent a morning reading about LINQ in VB 2012 Unleashed. Not until I got to the third chapter devoted to this did I see that MS is no longer investing in LINQ (although it will support it (how long?)) and any new projects should avoid using it. Any comments?
So, right now, what is the favored way of doing CRUD operations to SQL Server?

I read it as follows

"No longer investing" means they won't be adding any new features
"They will be supporting it" means the feature will not be removed

So I'll keep on using it until it is deprecated.
