Hi,

I've gotten a VPN connection between the router and the client. I can "ping" through the tunnel each way and used "tracert" to confirm, however I can't see any of my shares through the tunnel. Does anyone know why my shares aren't passing trough the tunnel?

I guess that you have two windows based machines on both sides.
You need WINS deployed in order to 'see' shares at other side of router/vpn tunnel.

Yes, both the computer behind the VPN/Router and the client are running WINXP Pro. However I don't think it's just WINS not resolving. I should be able to type the IP then the share name, i.e. "\\x.x.x.x\Programs" shouldn't I?

Yeah you should be able to type the share name as in
\\remoteserver\c$\ProgramFiles\Blah

I'd check out your shares, permissions and your authentication information (username/pass).

Can anyone tell me where to download the Linksys QuickVPN client.

Thanks...
