Hi there,
I am new to linux. I am running Knoppix from the CD and wish to install the above card on this system, so I can get net access.
Can anyone give me some tips and hints or point me to somewhere on the net where I can find out?
I have emailed tech support at linksys but no joy yet.
Thanks

Doesn't look like there is any support for it. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get one of those to work with FreeBSD 5.3...guess if we want the WMP11 to work with *NIX, we are going to have to learn how to write drivers.

I don't know which version of the card you have, but I have just got it working. I didn't do anything, it just worked as eth0. I thought that was the wired LAN port, but the computer I'm using doesn't have one of those and so I deduced it was the wireless card.
I then ran the iwconfig util and it was all sorted!
Wish I had doc'd the process I went through! Sorry.

Dang it!!! That's ok, glad you got it working.
