Hi all
I've got a Linksys Wireless G PCMCIA card on my laptop. I do not have the Linksys wireless software installed just the drivers - I'm managing my wireless setup via XP's built wireless configuration.

My problem is that at random times I will loose my wireless connection. Instead of getting the "wireless network unavaiable" message, I get a "there are more than one wireless network connection available" message. I click on the message, it brings up my WEP dialog box (wep keys are entered/saved already)

All I have to do is click "connect" and within a few seconds I've got my connection back but it's really annoying.

Has anyone else expereince this problem? I've reinstalled drivers, re-created the WEP setup and still no luck.

any suggestions? please let me know - rek410 - at- hotmail

Have you applied the Wireless Hotfix rollup package yet?

1. Make sure 802.1x authentication is disabled
2. Watch out for this issue: 3. Have only your Access Point listed in 'Preferred Networks'
4. Set to connect only to infrastructure networks
5. Set to connect only to 'Preferred Networks'
6. Disable connecting to any unsecured networks.
