I just got this thing and am using the delivered Linksys utility to set it up and my wired network doesn't see it. The default IP address on the box is 192.168.1.254, does my network need to be in the 192.168.1.x subnet in order to se it? That doesn't make sense because how many netowrks are on a 10.x.x.x? None of them would be able to see it?

perplexed ... Bill

the default IP is 192.168.1.254 - you can subsequently change this. your initial connection (to access the WAP's setup) must be from the same subnet.
