Hi all. We have a corporate network where I can ping internal ip addresses of all nodes.

I installed a new Linksys WAP and it works.

The problem is, I can't ping it from my workstation. We have an identical model WAP installed in the same location, and I can ping it fine. Both WAPS have the same configuration.

I can also log into the onsite Cisco router and view the WAP ip address and mac address in the ARP table.

Any ideas?

thanks

When you say both WAP's have the same configuration, you don't mean that they have even have the same IP address do you?

Dan

No. They have different ip addresses...but the security, domain name, etc is configured the same. The only difference is the Firmware version
