Hello, I am using a WUSB54G USB Adapter for my internet. The router is located a room away from me. Very often, when playing games or doing nothing at all, the connection on my adapter goes out, and does not come back. I have to restart the whole computer for it to work again, only to have the internet go out another 4 minutes later. When I go into Network Connections to check it, the folder freezes up, also forcing me to restart the computer with the dreaded reset button. I have no clue as to why this is happening. Please help.

If you are using XPsp2 and you installed the software with the unit, try this:
Go to Linksys and download the latest drivers for your WUSB54G (noting the version) and extract them to a folder.
Uninstall the unit and remove the software.
Restart your computer, then plug the unit in. Point the driver installation to the folder and let it install.
Now let Windows control the unit, not the software AND Windows.
This worked for me, but only seems to work in sp2.

The test continues...
