Good afternoon,

Can anyone tell me what the various version codes on Linksys SPA8000 mean?
I have seen:

[li]SPA8000[/li]
[li]SPA8000-G1[/li]
[li]SPA8000-G4[/li]
[li]SPA8000-G5[/li]
I believe the suffix has to do with country codes.
What version is the SPA8000 (with no suffix)?

Are there versions that are locked to specific VOIP providers, such as Vonage?

Thanks for the help.

Thank you for the reply.
I have seen this thread before, unfortunately it does not indicate what the SPA8000 (no suffix) is for.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Sorry - don't know. There's also an SPA8000-BR for Brazil and an SPA8000-XU that has SRTP removed, but no clue about an SPA8000 without a suffix and how it differs from all the other variants (G1, G4, G5).
