I need to disable the requirement for dialing # at the end of the dial string to get the SPA to dial. I know i have done this before but cannot remember.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks

What system are you using 3300, 5000 etc.

If 3300
you could try ARS with the exact number of dialled digits
e.g. 901 followed by 9 digits and then disable digits (blank) to be outpuled in the route assignment (default 4 digits)
This should then send out the 11 digits in one string (enbloc dialling) without the need to send #

You will need to setup dial plans on the SPA2102 under the Voice tab. You will need admin adavanced privileges to do so.

Most likely the SPA2102 will timeout and dial anyway if you wait long enough.

I have Australian Dial Plans but I don't think this will help.

Below is a link to how the dial plans work on a SPA3000 series adapter which is will be the same for the SPA2102

Thanks for your feedback so far. I did one of these a couple of months ago and i remember a simple config change that negated the need for the #.

Hopefully it will come back to me :-(

Create the number plan and put an S0 at the end.

Eg. for Australia

0,0[2-9]xxxxxxxxS0

The S0 means the number is complete and to send to line.
