Linksys RV042

I'm using Verizon's mobile connection to get out into the internet and linksys's quick connect client to access my rv042 router.

I could access the router from a remote site using a desktop but not on my laptop.

Has anyone successfully connected using verizon's mobile internet connection?

How far does the laptop get & what is the error? Is the laptop using XP's built-in firewall?

it hangs when it say's verifying network. I have the firewall disabled. No other vpn client

Is there any other firewall software running on the laptop (possibly one that came with a virus scanner)? What your describing is exactly what happens when the xp firewall is enabled. Does Verizon's mobile connection have some sort of firewall?

I disabled the windows firewall. Just to make sure I also disabled my norton antivus 2005. I don't know if the Verizon mobile connection has anything to do with it.
