Is there a way to setup a shared folder in NAS where users are not prompted with the username and password login box?

Is there a way to incorporate a NAS to the Windows 2000 Server Active Directory?

Could I use the Server's DFS to create a DFS link to the NAS shared folders and synchronize the users in the AD?

Yes, but this particular device does not allow for the advanced functions you are requesting.
