Hi all,
For the past week or so, my linksys cable modem will lose connection to the internet each morning for about an hour or so and then it will randomly connect back to the internet with no intervening on my part (my ISP is Comcast).
However, yesterday I was finally fed up with waiting so I disconnected the modem and pressed in the reset button then reconnected. Connection to the internet now seems more consistent; however, much slower (websites will fail to load sometimes until I hit refresh).
So I went into the modem log on my modem's web page and see the following errors:
2011-7-9 13:50:17 critical No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
2011-7-9 13:51:45 critical Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, but no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 timeout
2011-7-9 13:51:45 critical UCD invalid or channel unusable
2011-7-9 19:52:46 critical No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
2011-7-9 20:41:10 critical Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, but no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 timeout
2011-7-10 7:37:34 critical No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
2011-7-10 7:40:30 critical Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, but no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 timeout
2011-7-9 10:1:3 critical Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - T3 time-out
Does anyone know what the problem is or how I can fix it?? It is starting to drive me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
