Our office has a SDSL connection with a static IP address. I am trying to access the office lan from home. I am using SSH Sentinel 1.3.2.2 with a Linksys BEFVP41 ver 2, with firmware 1.00.13. All the articles and threads I've seen here and other websites (incl linksys support) have the BEFVP41 ver 1. Anyway, I am trying to set up the client. I have followed the example on linksys' support page (Answer 403 on their knowledgebase), could never get it to connect. Changed advanced setting on router to look for agressive mode and set sentinel to pass e-mail address as identified (put email address as username in router). Now Sentinel tells me I have successfully completed, the router logs say the same, but the VPN network connection on my XP box shows "Media disconnected".
