linksys befsx41

we use a linksys router to connect a vpn to a watchguard x700 but i'm getting problems with the linksys befsx41 locks up now and then and all traffic stops and a power cycle is the only way to get around it.

the unit is on the latest firmware but still the same.

HELP!!!!

Do you still have access to the Linksys after it locks up? If so, did you check the logs?
Do you have something in the logs of the watchguard VPN device?

Unfortunately, you give us very little information and it's difficult to figure what is going on.

no access to the linksys when the problem arises and nothing appears in the watchguard logs so i'm not really able to much more info on this problem.

If the linksys is still under warrenty, i would call them up, maybe there is something physically wrong with it or you may of found a new bug they need to look at.

have done a web chat with them and they have advised me to downgrade the firmware to 1.50.9 from 1.50.18 so i'll be trying this tonight will post back the results tomorrow
