Ok I need some help here (obviously) and I am at my wits end. I have a Linksys BEFSR41 at 1.44.2z. Whatever dewvice I plug into LAN port 3 I get no Link/ACT light, but the Full/coll and 100 lights blink in unison off and on about once ever 1/2 second. I have moved all of my devices around adn it is the same, always port 3. Anyone have any ideas why this is?

on the computer that is connected on that port three.. force the card to run at 10 megs and see if you will have link lights..also set static ip on that computer and ping the router.. if your can ping the router then try the internet.. if you can well that only means that the led light is busted not the port itself.. otherwise youll need to get a replacement of that router.. if its under warranty just send that to linksys. and you'll get a replacement..

well I put the PC on Port 3 at 10Mbps/Half and now it works, thanks for the help, I don't mind the fact that this machine is at that, it is just a workstation for my Fiance (Grin, she doesn't need the bandwidth does she??)

10 meg and 100 megs are not that far apart.. fact it 10 megs is far better that a 100 megs.. Why? Its is because 100 megs is more prone to interference such as EMI and other magnetic interference... therefore 100 megs give more lags. but if your in an environment where the odds of EMI that 100 megs is or.. but when it comes to it they are barely noticable..
